Rock Band / Music Industry
Summary of Program - The Certificate 2 in Music Industry is available for beginner to intermediate students, no experience is necessary. Students from 13 – 18 years can participate. Students choose an instrument to learn (Drums, Guitar, Keyboard & Singing), and learn to play and write rock songs. Students are placed into Rock Bands, and are coached using the Aussie ROCKSCHOOL training systems.
All participants will also be involved in recording, performance and film clip making. This course is a very ‘hands on’ fun introduction to the music industry. Participants successfully completing the Nationally Accredited ‘Aussie ROCKSCHOOL’ program will receive a Certificate 11 in Music Industry (Foundation Studies). The certificate leads on to Certificate 3 in Music Industry.
STRUCTURED WORKPLACEMENT – Yes, 30 hours required for assessment – to be negotiated with each participant.
